Non-Guitar Works of Guiter Composers

I began to play the guitar at junior high school days. I interested in the music of Mexican composer M.M.Ponce. My e-mail address 'pon@rpm.or.jp' is came from his name.

Ponce composed music not only for the guiter, but for the piano, orchestra, and various instruments.

[When I translated this page from original Japanese text to English, I know the meaning of word 'ponce' as slang. I'm shocked Ohhh...]

I searched Ponce's non-guitar music, and I got many non-guitar CDs of Ponce and other guitar composers. I'll introduce them.

Composed Music

I composed several numbers of Music. I introduce one of my compositions, as a midi data.

Prelude and Fugue

Prelude and Fuga for the trio of Koto, Cello and Piano.

The theme of this, is 'Shin-Tsushima Ondo'. 'Ondo' is a categoly of music, and it is a dance music for festival in Japan. 'Shin' means 'new', and "Thushima" is the name of my town.

I give traditional Japanese flavor by using this theme and Japanese instrument, the Koto, and brilliant effect by using western polyphonic technique, to the music.-
